Crown Line Theory Black IPA

Brewed 2/18/12
Bottled 4/9/12

Brewed specifically for the BBBB 2012, this was my first attempt at a Black IPA. I normally avoid hoppy beers, so I really have no idea how to describe this one except that it's hoppy. There is a hoppy aroma, followed by hops on the front, back, and sides of the tongue. Aftertaste is...hoppy. There might be some maltiness in there, but it's overpowered by the hops.
